Professional Development in Music
As SIPS Music, part of the Black Country Music Hub, we play a key role in supporting schools to deliver high-quality music education in line with current national expectations.
Free Face to Face Sessions
Our CPD programme is free to Sandwell schools and led by experienced, practising music educators. Sessions are designed to:
- Build teacher confidence and subject knowledge
- Support curriculum design and progression
- Strengthen inclusive and high-quality classroom music provision
Bespoke School Support
We recognise that not all schools have access to a music specialist. As such, we offer flexible, tailored support packages to ensure every school can deliver a strong and sustainable music curriculum.
For staff meetings or bespoke Music CPD within your school, we offer whole-staff training tailored to your priorities. Sessions can focus on key aspects of music curriculum delivery, teaching approaches and pedagogy to strengthen classroom practice.
Team Building and Well-Being
We also provide engaging, practical musical experiences to support staff wellbeing, INSET days and team-building, using inclusive and enjoyable music-making activities.
Free Face to Face CPD
The following sessions are free for all teaching staff in Sandwell school. You can register either through the links on this page or via the SIPS learning catalogue.
