Opportunities to further develop skills in the field of music education are available for our teachers in a variety of forms.

All SIPS Music staff are eligible to register as Music Mark members. Upon registration, you can choose which newlsetters you will receive, such as Training & Events, which regularly sends updated information on available CPD sessions, most of which are free to Music Mark members.

Peer Groups: Instrumental and Vocal Teachers

In addition to seminars led by specialists in various fields, teachers can join Peer Groups, which meet regularly online.

Charanga Resources and Training

Charanga memberships are available to teachers that would like to access and regularly use the online based teaching resources in their lessons. Resources such as YuStudio (DAW), Interactive Rhythm Grids, Music Notepad, Graphic Score Maker and many more can enhance teaching in most contexts.  If you are interested in using this platform, please contact music@sips.co.uk.

CPD Courses for Schools: Available for All SIPS Music Staff

The CPD programme made available to schools is also open for all SIPS Music Staff.

Each session is focused on an area of music teaching in schools, such as Primary Singing, Singing in Secondary, Primary Composition, Music Making in the Classroom, EYFS and more.
