There were two recital evenings that took place towards the end of the Spring term. These evenings give young musicians of all standards a unique opportunity to perform individually and in small groups to their families, friends and to each other. The musicians has been chosen especially by their teachers to perform, because of the progress and positive attitude they had shown over the year so far. At both the Wind and the Strings Recital Evenings it was clear that we have some very talented musicians in Sandwell, as we heard from some of the most experienced players and many stars of the future. Well done to everyone who took part and especially to those youngsters who found the courage to perform to an audience as soloists for the very first time!
All smiles after an excellent String Recital evening on Tuesday. Well done to all our ‘Shining Stars’! Thank you to staff for making us so welcome at Wednesbury Art Gallery and Museum – a lovely venue.
