On Tuesday 12th December families and friends were treated to live performances from SIPS’ rock bands at Splinter Studios. Bands performing ages ranged from 10 to 18. Students played drums, keys, guitars, bass and lead the vocals.
Music styles ranged from Rock and Roll to Heavy Metal with something for everyone in between. Classics by bands like Green Day, Nivana and America were performed alongside original pieces and compositions which have been released by the bands into the charts, some as recently as this week.
The progress made by young people on Tuesday evenings is fantastic. The students are amazingly dedicated, and this comes across in their performance and energy. Thank you to all the families for your continued support and to the teachers for all you do.
